Biography
Dr. Zach is a Washington University in St. Louis-trained Dermatologic Surgeon and Board-Certified Dermatologist specializing in skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. After three years in the snowy land of Upstate New York, Dr. Nahmias is excited to return home to the Midsouth and Jonesboro to offer patients the most advanced skin cancer treatments and dermatology services.
He is certified in Mohs Surgery. This procedure offers skin cancer patients minimal scarring and maximum effectiveness. Data has shown five-year cure rates approaching 99% for new cancers and 95% for recurrent cancers. Mohs surgery involves the removal of skin cancer at the microscopic level while reducing the amount of tissue taken during surgery.
